This project I wrote a three-act script of more than 100 pages of a political tragicomedy that takes base in the United States of America called “God Bless America.” It is about the new elections in America to become the 99th president democrats versus republicans. Who will win?  Who will die? And who will betray who so he will become the new 100th president of the United States of America?

To write this play, my first idea was to create a musical that had Beatles songs, but I realize that because of copyright and lack of time I couldn’t make it, so I change and find a thing that I enjoy that was politics.

In my country Peru our politics are going to a very difficult phase when everyone just wants power, and no one cares of the people that voted for them; they just want their satisfaction. The result of this was; one former president in jail, another one that escape into the US, the other one is accused of corruption who tried to escaped but was denied and still is in trial, the other presidential couple who were in jail and because they took time to look at the case they are free, the other former president that resigned making now Martín Vizcarra our new president of a long list that no one actually really knows. Some people say he is the 61st president other the 67th presidents and others the 127th which every time makes our president look like a less respected position and makes our country look bad. That is why this play was to show the importance of values and to chose wisely when elections are coming just that I put this cases and historical facts and make it in a way that happened in America.
