My Mission Project

Mission Project

My purpose is to be a better musician and expand my learning and showing others about my knowledge. My audience is to be my expert because he will help me to improve and because he knows more about music theory he will know more than me. My expert is going to be my guitar teacher had learned music and how to teach it for more than 25 years. For expanding my knowledge I will read articles, watch videos, and listen to some and band songs (for the inspiration for the songs).

I will learn the theory of music with measurements, notes durations, etc. Also, I will play different instruments which mostly is going to be a string (guitar) and percussion (piano) I will also learn about rhythms so I can put some rhythms patterns

When it is time to play a solo, my teachers always tell me that to create the solos you first need to improvise what are you going to pay. If it is going to be in the same octave or a more higher or lower. Also when creating a song the chords you need to know which one you are going to use.

With math, I have the patterns analyzed and add or subtract notes and rest. Examined the time signatures to understand the patterns, the tones, etc.

I know how to play those instruments so I will not learn anything from zero meaning that it will not be hard and also I am going to use repetitions that will help to make the song would last longer but is not going to be easy because it is my first time to create a song.

I will form first the melodic part of the first song and then do the song solo. For the second solo, I will do the same, and I will receive feedback to see if my melodics parts have a good melody. If all the instruments are in harmony or if it is necessary to take one out.

My project connects to school mission which is  "Our mission is to empower our students to pursue their passion for learning,

lead lives of integrity and create socially responsible solutions." I say this because,

I am pursuing my passion for learning how to compose music. And I will create the pieces of music original which mean that I will not copy from another artist and that is living a  life of integrity and socially responsible solutions.
