Retirement Home

In 2016 I went to help on a retirement home. There I meet old women from 70 years to more than 80 years old. Most of them were lucid and we help them play games like bingo. In fact for them bingo was a game were they really took it serious. We made them do arts and crafts and we talk to them.

There I realize that some people don’t prefer to raise a family but when they get old and they don’t have they are alone and sad. So they really enjoy our visits and I did too. Helping them and giving them a smile was something really heartwarming that really enjoy feeling.

The retirement home is run by nuns but they were old nuns so they need help to move around. This made me realize something and I was really thankful about it. I am really thankful that I can still enjoy my time with my four grandparents and even a great grandmother back when I was 5 or six years old. Weather is talking to them or playing music I really enjoyed and this experiences showed me the importance of family.
